Alice is a teaching tool that uses drag-and-drop style interaction to construct programs without syntax errors. Students create movies and games as a motivating context. 3D animation provides program visualization which aids students in understanding the execution and catching bugs. The third version of the system is under development which includes a smoother transition to programming in Java.

Webem is a web server that you can embed in your C++ application. It makes it easy to implement a browser GUI accessible from anywhere. Pass a reference to any class method and webem will arrange for it to be called by HTML. Webem is based on a minimally modified version of the boost::asio web server.

This is a test project for learning how things work in Project Kenai. I will add new features and try new things as they become available. Some of the features that you see in this project, may not be available to the general public yet. Advantages of being on the Project Kenai Team. :-)

This project provides help documentation, training tutorials, and release notes for Project Kenai, and creates community through mailing lists and forums. The users mailing list is a useful way to keep track of things and communicate (subscribe at http://kenai.com/projects/help/lists). The forums for Bugs, General, and UI are good places to discuss problems, report bugs, and ask for information.

Project Live* [live-star] introduces a new approach to software distribution and configuration in a data center. Major software components (e.g. an operating system or an application server) are distributed as immutable disk images that contain pre-installed and ready-to-run software. Users can, within the limits of compatibility, use these Lego-like building blocks to construct more complex systems.
