Hi All,

I am using simple validation for my sample project. I found a small problem while using it.
i.e. When the user types some thing wrong in a text box say an alphabet instead of a number, then the validator immediately validates and then if the user rectifies it. the error message goes off, but the error icon placed upon the text box is not going. When i check the validationpanel.getProblem it comes as null. Kindly tell me when this kind of problem arises.

Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a bug, that should not be happening. Could you provide with a small test case that triggers this behavior?

A lot of things have been happening with the library since last release (ValidationAPI 0.4 -- which I assume that you're using?) so there's always a chance the bug is no longer present in the current development code. Hopefully we can get a new version out the door soon (we may be pretty close to a 1.0 soon), and then it'd be interesting to see if you can trigger this bug with the new version.

I've seen this too, but not recently - it may be fixed in source but still present in the JAR that's downloadable.
