MirrorSql, a simple to use wrapper for plain JDBC. You only need to type SQL and the wrapper does enything else. e.g. prepare the Statement and ensure the ResultSet is closed An simple Query will looks like <code>Row r = sql().on( "Customer" ).load().where( "id_customer=:1", 2 ).unique();</code> Take a look on http://myideasforjay.blogspot.com/2009/05/mirror-sql.html for a little intro.

PADS aims to be a drop-in replacement for Microsoft Access...and so much more. Not only will PADS, when complete, allow the editing and data manipulation of Microsoft Access database files, it will also provide a GUI frontend to all Java-supported database servers. PADS will be completely written in Java (J2SE/Swing) and will rely on the existing database server JDBC drivers that are available for use. PADS will be platform independent. PADS is currently in its start-up phase.
